FAQs
Start dates vary based on the scope of work, current workload, and weather conditions. Once we have your deposit payment and material selections, we'll provide a projected start date and keep you updated on any changes. Our siding company's goal is to begin your project as soon as possible while ensuring we maintain our high-quality standards.
Yes, our siding company works with trusted subcontractors as well as employees. Each one has been thoroughly vetted and trained to meet our professional standards.
A manufacturer's warranty covers defects in the materials themselves, such as siding, roofing shingles, or windows, and varies by product and brand. A company/labor warranty covers our workmanship-ensuring the installation was done correctly. If an issue arises due to installation errors within the warranty period, our siding company will make the necessary repairs at no cost to you.
Yes, we do! Our siding company offers financing options through trusted partners to help make your project more affordable. During your consultation, we'll be happy to walk you through the financing application process and available terms.
Our siding company recommends power washing your home at least once a year to remove dirt, mold, and mildew buildup. If your home is surrounded by trees or exposed to heavy weather conditions, you may benefit from power washing every 6-9 months.
Our siding company works year-round, but extreme cold can affect certain materials and installation processes. For example, roofing and painting are best done when temperatures are above 40F to ensure proper adhesion and curing. If weather conditions are too severe, we may recommend rescheduling to maintain the highest quality results.
Nope! No pushy salespeople here - just friendly folks who love talking about home projects and helping you find what's right for you. If it's not a good fit, no hard feelings - our siding company will still be happy to answer questions anytime!
With so many home improvement companies it can be hard to know who to trust. According to This Old House, nearly 50% of homeowners plan to tackle a renovation this year. Please do your homework and meet with at least 3 companies and pay attention during your meetings. Are they trying to use high-pressure sales techniques? Do they only have one line of products to sell you or do they offer you choices to consider for your home? Also, read through their Google reviews, look at their Better Business Bureau listing, and even ask to speak with a recent customer. Here at Jacob's Ladder, we employ true consultants, not salespeople, who offer real choices for your home and are there to educate you every step of the way. So talk with our consultants, ask us the hard questions, and our siding company will help you make the right decision for your home.
What credit cards do you accept? Jacob's Ladder, just like many other small businesses, accepts Visa and MasterCard, but our siding company does require a small processing fee to help us with the associated fees we have to pay.
We do not currently accept American Express & Discover. We do also offer financing options through third-party lenders
Our siding company has a current minimum project rate that varies by season and scope of work. At minimum, we require a full day's worth of work for our crew. This ensures we're able to commit the proper resources and deliver high-quality results. Contact us directly for a quick consultation to determine if your project qualifies.
